Scratch Studio is located at 12 Gorse Avenue, L12 5JU in West Derby with the blue and white garage door. The studio is a purpose-built facility situated behind a residential property. Just ring the doorbell!

Yes, we have the facilities to accommodate bands of up to 5 members. With a separate drum booth, we can build up your track(s) more efficiently, initially starting with a "scratch" recording of the core parts of the song as a band. We then track each members part individually, ending with vocals.

As for mixing and mastering, some portion of this may take place on the day (should time allow) and any remaining work will be carried out and delivered within an agreed timeframe.

Yes, our in-house engineer, Adam is a drummer and can play drums on our studio kit for your track(s). Adam can also add additional instruments via software instruments including guitars, bass, keys, brass, woodwind and more.

Yes, we can assist with aspects of song writing and can put you in contact with musicians and writers who can help you realise your ideas.

All files will be sent to the email address provided by the customer via WeTransfer and will be available to download for up to 1 month after being made available.
